Some of my group members from Tiklop Society of the Philippines already made an advocacy bike ride to these so-called "bike lanes" and had a positive result after a week or so. But then again, some people really don't know the word "responsible", so to speak...

August 12, 2012 Loop Ride

Finally, I was able to take the supposed to be route I planned on this blog entry. 

Hopefully I can do much longer loop rides on the coming days...

Coolpix S800 (first Android based camera from Nikon)

 

Nikon will finally announce a new Android based compact camera. The model name will probably be Coolpix S800 (or S800c).

The expected camera specs are:

•     25-250 mm lens
•     3.5" OLED screen
•     The camera runs all Google Play apps
•     The camera will probably run Android 2.3
•     Built-in GPS
•     Built-in Wi-Fi
•     Possible announcement: August 22, 2012

July 29, 2012 Loop Ride

 

My original plan of taking a loop ride from my home place in QC - all the way to San Mateo via Batasan-San Mateo Road, Marikina via Marcos Hi-way, UP via Katipunan, then back home via Commonwealth, was aborted due to unpredictable weather condition last Sunday morning (trans: may bagyo!!!). Hehehehehe.

I just made a loop ride instead, based on the above map. Thus also had a route going back to IBP Road from Petron along Batasan-San Mateo Road.

Total distance traveled: 16.95 kms. based on my CycleDroid.

It was nevertheless a good ride on that wet/gloomy/stormy Sunday morning! :-)
