Lingap Bata Center Advocacy

After quite some time, I'm back in doing what I love most - doing advocacy works!

This time I'm with another bike group, BBFI. They're only more than a year in the biking community but this isn't the first time they did doing that.

And the beneficiary this time, the Lingap Bata Center in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Without further adieu, let me share some snaps I took during the event;

Bike blessing at Antipolo

...with my TSP (Tiklop Society of the Philippines) group happened last September 28, 2014...

As I woke-up late, I just followed and meet them at the church compound.

Here's the only photo I took along the way;

My Partial Bisikleta Iglesia

After doing an errand last Holy Wednesday, and while near some churches in the area, I decided to drop-by to few churches. And so far here they are below;

Binondo Church (Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz)

Sta. Cruz Church

Quiapo Church (Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene)

San Sebastian Church (Basilica Minore de San Sebastian)

Sto. Domingo Church

I was able to visit five (5) churches before the sun goes down and it started to get dark.

Saturday (04122014) Errand Ride

After doing some business stuff (shipped items to Davao City via JRS Regalado), I decided to do other errand (to look/find for "Screw It" store) for some needed "metric screws". I've long been trying to find it and finally, I was able to locate it.

As I took a spin on my way there, allow me to share a few snaps I saw along the way...

Having been born and raised in ParaƱaque, I'm not a devotee of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Baclaran. But rather I'm thankful that my birthday falls on the same day of its feast day. So I was surprise to learn that there's also a Perpetual Help chapel in Cubao area.

17March2014 - BTH

Prior on going home, I passed-by to a co-TSP's house, but it's closed. It's unusual that at that earlier day of the week, there's no one in sight...

So I just opted to take a spin around Mapayapa Village area then to Regalado Avenue via Republic Avenue before heading home.

The route I took;

Project Neos 2.0

This Neos 2.0 RD (rear derailleur) has been with me for quite some time since I begged (Trans: "Arbor") for it from a friend and a co-biker/co-TSP, Edward P. Santos.

Being bugged (and having almost always doing RD tuning) with the "stock" RD on my KorEnda (Enda Leo 16" folding bike) since I acquired it sometime November last year, I decided that I really need to make provisions as my Enda Leo doesn't have "drop-out" to install this or any other after-market RD.

So last Saturday (February 22), prior on my (our) ride, I passed-by to some machine shops along "Killer Highway" (Commonwealth Avenue) and look for a shop who can do the provisions I need. After dropping-by for two (2) shops, alas there's a shop who had the "special" threading bit whose diameter is almost exact with the mounting bolt of the said RD.

I was able to fix/install it the next day as I am too tired when I went home after our ride. So here goes the result;

Hopefully it holds true what it says that it's actuation is 1:1. Same with SRAM. Let's see...
