Home-Holy Spirit-Kaliraya St.-"Mental" aka Tapa Supreme-Holy Spirit-Home

Project Neos 2.0

This Neos 2.0 RD (rear derailleur) has been with me for quite some time since I begged (Trans: "Arbor") for it from a friend and a co-biker/co-TSP, Edward P. Santos.

Being bugged (and having almost always doing RD tuning) with the "stock" RD on my KorEnda (Enda Leo 16" folding bike) since I acquired it sometime November last year, I decided that I really need to make provisions as my Enda Leo doesn't have "drop-out" to install this or any other after-market RD.

So last Saturday (February 22), prior on my (our) ride, I passed-by to some machine shops along "Killer Highway" (Commonwealth Avenue) and look for a shop who can do the provisions I need. After dropping-by for two (2) shops, alas there's a shop who had the "special" threading bit whose diameter is almost exact with the mounting bolt of the said RD.

I was able to fix/install it the next day as I am too tired when I went home after our ride. So here goes the result;

Hopefully it holds true what it says that it's actuation is 1:1. Same with SRAM. Let's see...

TSP - Raiders of the Lost Ark 2 Ride

Bulalo Ride

Ride day : 18January2014

An un-official ride of my group, TSP (Tiklop Society of the Philippines).

It was named "Bulalo Ride" as we just planned to bike ride to Mang Vic's Bulaluhan and of course, eat bulalo! :)

05December2013 - Night Ride (+ LSD)

After being absent with this "Urban Night Ride" (with my TSP group) for a couple of weeks, finally I was able to join again last night...

As we (my group - Tiklop Society of the Philippines) had a Halloween Ride last night, instead of going home straight, I went first to UP Diliman Oblation Park to meet a couple of co-member. Then proceeded to Ortigas Park area to meet the rest of the group.

Sadly, I wasn't able to capture logs starting from office till Ortigas. Instead, was only able to get logs somewhere in Katipunan Avenue up to the said Ortigas Park...

Finally, after doing an on & off, on & off bike commuting lately, I was able to complete this 5-straight days (4.5 days as of this writing) of BTW (Bike To Work) & BTH (Bike To Home) routine. Hopefully this'll continue on the coming days, weeks, or months...

There's some monetary savings. But the best of it all, is the physical investment I am getting! :-)

Whoaaa!!!

108.9 kph just from a bike, rather folding bike ride???

As I reviewed the GPS logs from that CycleDroid app, I've noticed that there's some "jump data" (as what we call them in GPS terminology) from UP Diliman Oblation Park area to between Villages A & B along Delos Reyes St. and in portion of Project 4, Quezon City area. Thus probably the reason why I got that unexpected speed.

And as far as the ride pace we (my group's TSP-LSD Urban Night Ride) had last night, we won't have that pacing as we also had with us some lady and some "newbie" bikers.

Let's just probably say that I made tele-porting that time! ;-D

TSP - Tagaytay Ride

Ride day - 13 October 2013

Finally, after backing-out for couple of times, I was able to join TSP's Tagaytay Ride! My reason is that - I felt I'm not yet ready to conquer this challenge for myself. But having ridden some long rides, I knew it's about time.

Compared to my other rides, I was only able to take a total of five (5) pictures as I'm more concentrated on the ride as the temperature is a little hotter when we're about to approach the succeeding ascents leading to Tagaytay Rotonda.
